The Last Big Pig Out

When I met King Dad, he took me to a large family event at his grandparents. They called it a Pig Out. Any extended familiy living close enough was invited to Grandpa Al's and Grandma Venice's for good food and fun. These pig outs always took place over the LDS General Conference weekends. They got together for dinner, than the guys would leave for priesthood session while the girls cleaned up and chatted. The dessert was served when the guys got back.

Last week was the last pig out.  Grandma Venice passed a couple years ago, and Grandpa Al has now joined his sweetheart again.  Even though they weren't with us physically, we all gathered together the night before the funeral to enjoy company and good food.
